Religion is super important to LDS people but there's also alot of exmormons. This is especially true when you are around others. Her dad is a bishop Oh, I should clarify we're both in our late 20s and living independently from parents. I am also a pharmacist and a mother of two boys. Sometimes I think he is the man who shouldn't have had a family but just a career too late for that now though. I just started dating this guy and not only is he in the army, but also a doctor. Eventually I hope each wards get to a point where they know that as a ward family our job is simply to make sure that each person, member or non member knows that when they enter the house of the Lord, they are loved. I am so grateful to have had the ability to instill in them that family comes first. My boyfriend and I are both in medical school and it is so difficult to manage a relationship while surviving the class load. She may never join the join the church. I think she sounds great but she won't be able to not bring it up. My experience with non members has been so much more meaningful and caring. If I were you, I would sever the relationship and find someone else. To sum up, they're incapable of loving anyone but themselves and the thought of a marriage counselor freaks them out as this would mean confronting their ultimate excuse of "I'm too busy".
